Recovery Zone Facility Bond Program
Washington County has been allocated $7,091,000 of RZFB bonding authority for use by businesses and associated municipal borrowers for bonds issued by December 31, 2010. As such, the application process for RZFB’s is competitive. EDWC’s role is to solicit, evaluate and prioritize projects proposed by municipalities for greatest economic benefit. The attached also spells out the application process. As RZFB are municipal issued bonds, all RZFB applicants must obtain municipal support (done via a simple affidavit) for their projects before EDWC will consider an application.
Please note the deadline for applications February 26, 2010.
